Important Travel Information
If you are flying into or driving over from Vancouver, we strongly recommend booking the ferry in advance. Ferry bookings are available for vehicles or foot passengers. Without a booking, especially near long weekends, it’s common to wait upwards of 3 sailings.
To book, go to Book Sailings | BC Ferries and select from Vancouver (Tsawwassen) to Victoria (Swartz Bay).
Be mindful that to travel from Vancouver airport YVR to the Tsawwassen takes over an hour to drive, and about two hours to take transit. Transit will require the SkyTrain to Bridgeport Station, then take the 620 bus from Bridgeport to Tsawwassen.
